We are the Seasoned Rookies
Seasoned Rookies was formed on the summer of 2008 that started with 2 unique individuals that dreamed of having a band that can share their music to everyone who loves music and its context. It started out when Jhun, a melodic guitarist, and Nould, an underrated percussionist and song-writer, decided to team up and experiment on their musicality. They focused on their vision that ordinary people can make good quality music.
A year later, they met Mark who is also interested in joining the band then, making him fill up the bassist position. A month later they added another individual to their cause, adding up Santi, who has an exceptional voice and songwriting skills. They started writing songs that can keep up with most OPM songs and believed that it can stand out as well.
Like most dreams some things are really too good to be true. After months of writing and recording songs, only 3 of them remained dedicated to their cause. Mark decided to leave the band making the group an indefinite trio. After months of pursuing the 3-man lineup, the group met Donnie, who is an off-the-edge lead guitarist to make their sound a little more grittier while maintaining the music they have started to form, causing Jhun to take up the bassist position, thus completing the formula for their long-dreamed success.
With the band complete, they started out recording demo songs and playing gigs on different bars, places and activities. The band continues to work on their songs with their hopes of someday they can let the whole nation or, maybe the whole world, listen and relate to their songs.
Seasoned Rookies is currently under DICE recording studios and productions management team, handled by Mr. Dexter Panlilio of Orient Pearl and Mr. Rommel Gerodias.
